Sally A. Bunting (Stevens) Obituary (1944

Sally Ann Bunting (Stevens) Lima - Sally Ann Stevens Bunting, 81, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. She was born January 25, 1944 in Greene, NY and moved with her family to Lima, NY in 1948. Challenged throughout her life with very poor eyesight she nonetheless graduated from Lima High School and worked many years at the Association for the Blind/Goodwill Industries in Rochester. She married David R. Bunting in 1975 who predeceased her in 1986. After her husband's death she lived several years on her own with her beloved Golden Retriever seeing-eye dog, "Max". She is predeceased by her parents Olan and Anna Matteson Stevens as well as brothers George (Alma), Lawrence (Dorothy) and Robert Stevens and sister Twilla (Edward) Fuller and brother-in-law Joseph Wallan. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Stevens Wallan who tirelessly attended to her well-being for many years, as well as several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 2 at 10:00AM at the O'Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home 2041 Lake Ave, Lima. Interment Honeoye Falls Cemetery.
